In their continues efforts to provide support towards education and their constant engagement in supporting the role of women in society, Kooheji Jewelry sponsored this month the «First Scientific Forum of the Faculty of Arts for joint scientific research between the student and professor» at the Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University - Faculty of Arts - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which was held on Wednesday , November 4th 2015 under the patronage of Her Excellency, director of the university D. Huda Bint Mohammed Al Ameel , entitled: Experiences and Visions.
The company’s participation in the University Forum came from its permanent orientation to support development initiatives in the field of education , carried by educational districts and schools, and in accordance with the principles established at Kooheji Jewelry to support the female sector in the Gulf society and Arab world and it’s commitment in general to achieve a galvanizing leap in the field of education through participation in educational development initiatives carried out by educational institutions on the basis of adopting modern methods to ensure preservation of the quality of education. The Support comes as confirmation of the company's eagerness to participate in any educational and awareness programs directed to integrate all groups of society.
General Director Waleed Al Kooheji stressed on the company’s belief in education and its fundamental role in building the society and achieving self-development. He stated that the company is always eager to strengthen its partnership effectively with all civil society organizations, universities and educational institutions by always attempting to activate a real community participation to support the educational process. From this logic, the company attaches great importance to academic activities and to providing full support to all talented students in all activities and educational fields either for women or men. He added: In our field of business we attach a great deal of respect to women , this respect extends outside our trade to our social and personal principles, and our religion urges on education and a women's right to education. There is no doubt that we should all work on providing women with the necessary tools for them to effectively serve in various aspects of human, political, economic and social life and help them master their role in work and family as we consider them an important element in the development and progress of societies, and for this we are always keen to support and participate in everything related to the enhancement of the women sector and their role in society.
He also pointed to the pride Kooheji Jewelry holds for being part of such university programs that construct partnership between the student and the faculty which contribute to building a strong relationship between students and teachers and give them the opportunity to express and participate in the introduction of new ideas , constructive and comprehensive learning experiences, praising the University’s efforts in the development and quality of technical and vocational education provided as preparation for women of various specializations to support them in completing higher education and pave the way for them to contribute to the economic and social development in the country.
The forum, which was held in the Faculty of Arts at the University Theater, included a number of scientific sessions that dealt with various subjects related to the academic and administrative components that enhance research productivity between professors and students as well as highlighting the obstacles and effective strategies to promote joint research between them . Professors and students participated in the sessions as speakers and the program was concluded with a recommendation and honoring ceremony in the presence of the Faculty of Arts Dean A. D. Bint Abdul Aziz Al-Ajlan.
